I've so many franken ideas running through my head and it's killing me because I have no idea how to source for supplies in Singapore - especially the suspension base, cosmetic glitters, etc. Any suggestions? :(
Anyway, back to the polish. This time, I dabbled with glitter:
I apologize for the lobster claws. It didn't look like this IRL but my camera decided to give it a reddish hue. =x The nails and bottle are color accurate though.
Purple Rose of Virgo is a mix of micro, small and medium blue, silver, holographic and largely purple glitter and some shimmer suspended in a sheer purple base. Since it is too sheer to build up opacity, I layered one coat of it over black for the swatches in this post. Not only does that make the glitters stand out, it made removal a piece of cake too! No need for foils! :D
*bam* Instant galaxy nails! Yes, that was the reason behind the name.
Here's a look at it in the sun.
Look how bright some of the glitters are! They are literally glowing on the nails!
Here's a blown up of the nail *drools*:
What do you think of my Purple Rose of Virgo?

Wow! This is incredible. It's the perfect "galaxy nails" look, in my opinion. I like how the glitter isn't too chunky.
ReplyDeleteThank you!! <3 Glad you like it too! :D
ReplyDeleteIts so pretty! Did you managed to find a suspension base in Singapore?
ReplyDeleteThank you, Michelle :D
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I haven't had any luck myself :(

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I haven't been able to get my hands on some of the glowy holographic glitters so I might not be able to reproduce this :(
